Forbo Marmoleum is the most sustainable flooring choice and combines its natural character with stunning floor designs, excellent durability and easy cleaning & maintenance.

Marmoleum, Forbo's brand of linoleum, is made from 97% natural raw materials and contains 43% recycled content. It contains no phthalates, no plasticisers and no mineral oil. The key raw materials used in the Marmoleum production include linseed oil, wood flour and jute.

Marmoleum flooring is very suitable for people with asthmatic allergies and similar disorders. It is anti-static (which is why it's so easy to keep dust-free), and its proven bacteriostatic properties inhibit micro-organisms.

Marmoleum sheet is available in rolls of 2x30 metres (wxl) and offers more than 150 colourways. It presents 3 design directions: Marbled, Solid and Linear.

The craft of manufacturing linoleum has evolved over the last 150 years. Forbo has been driving this development through its Marmoleum brand. Making Marmoleum is an art, which is not learned at any trade - or craft school. In fact, only a handful of people know how to make Marmoleum.

Determining the correct mixture of ingredients, allowing the right time for raw materials to settle, applying the correct temperature and pressure; all skills Marmoleum Experts must master. We are proud of our experts, as they take pride in creating every piece of Marmoleum.

● wood flour from controlled forests and
● jute, the natural backing onto which the linoleum is calandered
